Today we open the answers-questions column.

Despite the fact that the site has a special section with the most frequently asked questions on the screensavers, we often receive the following questions:

  1. How to remove (delete) a screensaver?
  2. I installed the screensaver, but it shows a black screen. What to do?
  3. I downloaded your screensaver. Nothing works….

And so let’s clear up the above situation.

You downloaded a screensaver and nothing works. It happens,

1) when a screensaver is mistakenly downloaded to a phone or tablet, and not to a computer or laptop. Screensavers only support desktop computers or laptops.

2) the computer where the screensaver was downloaded does not have special codecs for some reason (it is very rare)

3) Anti-virus application can block the installation of a screensaver. This sometimes happened  when we showed the advertisement during the installation. Now the situation changed and all screensavers go without advertising.

In this case, write to us at is@newfreescreensavers.com, and describe the installation steps in details, how you downloaded, where, what software is on your computer. We’ll figure out what to do in this situation.

Black screen.

Hooray, you downloaded the screensaver and even installed it. But instead of a cute animated picture, you see a black screen. In 99 cases out of 100 the update the flash player helps. In this case we always recommend Adobe. Here is the link.

We often recommend clearing the space on your computer, removing unused programs, including screensavers. How to do it, read the detailed instructions on our website
