How to disable Windows Defender and download a screensaver

February 1, 2018

Hello dear friends.

Now a new challenge from Windows!

Windows Defender in the new update  (Windows version 1709) blocks the downloading of free screensavers from http://www.newfreescreensavers.com saying about the virus.

In order to download a screensaver it is necessary to disable Windows Defender, otherwise, it will block the downloading and will give you information about a threat or virus. We do our best to solve the issue.

You can always check the downloaded file with www.virustotal.com service.

How to disable Windows Defender:

1) Start -Settings

1-start-settings

2) Update and Security
